This past month or so has been the worst allergy season ever! Ever since last week, I have been battling with another sinus infection. I went ahead and self-medicated with my leftover meds from May's sinus infection (yeah, I realize that I shouldn't self-medicate...and take all my medicine the first time), and it kinda worked, but I am still really stuffy. I also think I might be allergic to Amoxicillin now, too. I already have severe sensitivites to Bactrim and Erythromycin, but those usually are stomach issues. This is the second time I've barely taken any Amoxicillin and my lips have swollen up, turned really red, dried out and cracked. Weird.
In other (not so medical) news, Monday was our last day at CrossFit. Kinda sad...kinda not. Now I don't feel so obligated to be somewhere right after work every day, but then again, I'm not so motivated to go to the gym either. But, I have taken yoga the past 2 Tuesdays and really enjoyed the teacher! The first time I ever tried yoga, it was taught by a crazy person who made us quack like a duck. True story. I tried it a couple of times after that (with a couple of years inbetween), but never really liked it. Until last week. I was actually sore for a few days after! Which I like! Plus, it helps stretch out my back and has relieved some of that daily pain that I have in my middle back. Which I like! So, I am going to try to go a couple of times a week now. Now if I can start to end my junk food cravings, it will be all good...
Lastly, here's a funny text convo between Jonathan and I today that shows how much I don't know about Catholicism:
Jonathan: Saturday is canceled. (Nephew's b-day thing)
Me: Why?
Jonathan: My brother-in-law's grandma was given her last rites this morning and the whole family is coming up.
Me: Is she going to jail? Or does that mean she is dying?
Jonthan: Dying.
Yeah, I'm an idiot. I know this.
